Optional add-on
What it is. With text verification on, each guest enters their phone number and we text them a 6-digit code. They type the code in once, and that phone is verified for your whole event, so they won’t be asked again. Only guests who confirm a real phone number can post photos.
You don’t need it. PicPost works completely without it. Guests still share by scanning your QR code, every photo is still screened automatically, and you can still approve every photo before it shows on the wall. Text verification just adds an extra layer of security that’s important to some hosts, like knowing every photo came from a real person with a real phone number.
Why it costs extra. Every verification text has a real cost to us from our texting provider. Instead of raising the price for everyone, we offer it as a separate option. It’s priced for the most guests your event can have, because any of them could verify:

How to add it. Tick “Add text verification” under your event size before you check out. It isn’t available on Free. It’s switched on for your event automatically, and you can turn it off in your event settings at any time.
Text verification works with US and Canada mobile numbers.
Free covers up to 10 guests and 100 photos. Paid events are a one-time price: $49 for up to 100 guests (Small), $79 for up to 250 (Medium), $129 for up to 500 (Large), and $399 for unlimited guests (Unlimited). Optional text verification is extra: +$25 for Small, +$50 for Medium, +$100 for Large, or +$200 for Unlimited.
Free gives you one event for up to 10 guests and 100 photos, with the live photo wall, photo screening and download included. Photos are available for 30 days after the event. You enter a card at sign-up, but it isn’t charged unless you choose to upgrade. Each card can be used for one Free event. Text verification isn’t available on Free.
When your Free event reaches 10 guests or 100 photos, new photos stop until you upgrade. We let you know as you get close. Upgrading takes one tap, and you only pay the price of the size you choose.
Yes. Upgrade to a bigger size anytime from your event dashboard, even during the party. You only pay the difference between your current size and the new one, and your event, QR code and photos all stay the same. The card you used at checkout is charged when you tap Upgrade.
It’s an optional add-on. Each guest confirms their phone number once with a 6-digit text code before they can post.
